Smoke Detector
Smoke detector is usually used in the kitchen of a house. Some premises place it at a non-smoking area to detect people breaking the rules and potentially causing an accident. There is no need to activate the alarm system to use smoke detector, smoke detector is placed under a 24-hour zone in the control panel, and it is active 24 hours a day regardless if the alarm system is activated or not. Many people have a misconception, thinking too straightforwardly, that smoke is caused by fire. Indeed, it is caused by fire but not always. In many cases, fire disaster is caused by a short circuit of an electrical appliance in the kitchen. Some will think they do not need a smoke detector because they live in a modern world without any gas cooker. That is wrong, because induction and ceramic cooktops, microwave, oven and many more appliances are all heat producing and high-power consumption appliances with a risk of causing fire.
