The IP system is a digital and network version of closed-circuit television. IP Camera is necessary for bigger projects due to its flexibility. It’s usually used in bungalows, mansions, malls, hotels, and other buildings that have a security control room. The diagram above shows how flexible and easy it is to implement IP solutions when compared to alternative HD Analog systems where a standard coaxial cable must be wired to every component.  i.e. Less drilling holes for cables between floors, less visible cables. Often a major selling point. Another advantage of IP cameras over HD Analog cameras is that many come with a built-in microphone.
