Coaxial Cable – RG59, RG6 Cable

Coaxial cable is used for analog cameras to send the image signal from camera to the recorder. There are so many types of coaxial cable but there are 2 widely used in the surveillance industry, namely RG59 and RG6. If the distance between the camera and recorder is below 300m then we recommend RG59. RG6 is used for distances above 300m. Of course, if cost is not an issue then there is no problem using RG6 even if the distance is short.
